1) In what ways was America involved in WWII before being bombed at Pearl Harbor? To what extent did this involvement match the “official” foreign policy of the time?

2) What were the steps that led the U.S. to declare war and become officially involved in WWII?

3) What is the difference between isolationism and American internationalism? In what ways was America practicing internationalism in the years between the world wars?

4) What were Italy, Germany, and Japan doing to put the world on a path toward another war? What were the international responses to their actions?
